Job Summary

Flex-N-Gate, a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components, adhering to electrical code, manuals, and specifications.
  • Install power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment, following electrical code and blueprints.
  • Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
  • Replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, and motors.
  • Plan and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
  • Program automated machinery, such as robots, using control systems.
  • Perform and document maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Manage inventory control of electrical components.

Requirements

  • Current Provincial Electrician license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general electrical maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with control wiring and troubleshooting.
