Global Technical Sales Expert

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular site visits and technical support.
Develop new business opportunities by selling products and services to untapped customers in Canada.
Leverage sales opportunities with current customer base by introducing the parent company's new products and technologies.
Negotiate pricing contracts and managing over dues while supporting technical needs of customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to balance sales activities with production inventory, optimize service quality, and provide insights based on market intelligence.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform strategic business decisions.
Motivate and collaborate with agents and distributors to promote a service-first delivery model.
Utilize internal systems to track sales activities and customer intelligence effectively.
Required Skills:
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering Degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in industrial sales in a foundry, steel mill, or heavy industry environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and email communication.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
Strong negotiation abilities, including communication of pricing strategies.
Safety-conscious with knowledge of industry-specific safety standards.
Ability to travel within Canada and occasional international travel.
Enthusiastic, persistent, and committed to achieving sales targets.
