Job Overview

Canada Post Corp is seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an On-Call Relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to various communities on an on-call basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Mail and Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Operate a Motor Vehicle: Operate a company vehicle in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions.
  • Interact with Customers: Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sort and Collect Mail: Sort and collect mail items in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid permanent provincial driver's license.
  • Safe Driving Record: Have a satisfactory safe driving record.
  • Vehicle Requirements: Meet the mandatory vehicle requirements, including a minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters) and automatic transmission.
