Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier with Canada Post Corp.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and packages to various communities in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a positive and courteous manner.
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items, and acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure.
  • Process various CPC products and services, and wear Canada Post identification while on delivery.
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg, and have experience in making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions.
Requirements
  • A valid permanent provincial driver's license.
  • A satisfactory safe driving record.
  • A minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters).
  • A metal roof-top and accessory power outlet to accommodate a Canada Post sign and flashing light.
  • A fifth door / hatchback to allow for oversized and bulky items to be loaded.
  • Automatic Transmission.
  • Power windows.
