Job Description

In collaboration with senior leadership, this dynamic executive will define project scope, goals, and deliverables that drive business success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the Construction Management Firm on the project as the Owner's Representative
  • Developing project plans and associated communications documents
  • Estimating resources and personnel required to achieve project goals
  • Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Assessing need for additional staff and/or consultants and liaising with department managers for acquisition
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Tracking project milestones and deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications

This successful candidate will possess a strong track record in residential real estate development, with:

  • 10-15 years of high-rise residential construction management experience with reputable General Contractors or Developers
  • 5+ years experience working on-site in a Site Supervisory capacity earlier in career
  • Superior communication, client liaison, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, negotiate, mentor, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-up
  • Ability to work according to deadlines and interact with different functions, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player with high work ethics, always putting Company interests and goals first
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management or related field
