Senior Area General Manager

Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a Senior Area General Manager - Facilities Operations to manage both an administrative and industrial location. The successful candidate will lead operations for all services, including hard and soft services, and oversee critical business processes.
This role is a critical component of our agile transformation journey with our client and will require leading teams through significant change. The Senior AGM will be responsible for a budget of $25M and a team of 5-6 direct reports and 130 frontline employees.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account to plan projects and implement new processes.
- Develop business plans and budgets with each account DFO to support system and district goals.
- Review and analyze financial statements data to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo.
- Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison, promoting a solid business partnership and assisting in contract negotiations.
- Maintain Quality and company Standards, reviewing and maintaining reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo/System Client policies and procedures.
- Responsible for system succession planning, employee development, diversity initiatives, training, and constructive counseling.
- Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management.
- Proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience, demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen in utilizing and managing contract financials.
- High level of self-awareness, maturity, and ambition to grow the business with a focus on employees and clients.
