Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at ELS Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Train and Develop drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and Control the performance of drivers, including their safety records, fuel efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of company vehicles, including scheduling and overseeing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies including requisitioning and ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the trucking industry.
  • Work Setting: Supervision of 5-10 people, including truck drivers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
