Pastry Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at The Josie Hotel, Autograph Collection. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts, ensuring the quality preparation of all pastry items, and maintaining approved food costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality pastry items, including cakes, pastries, and desserts.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items.
  • Lead and train a team of pastry cooks to ensure high-quality production and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry arts and a thorough understanding of kitchen and restaurant operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
