Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at The Josie Hotel, Autograph Collection. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods and desserts, ensuring the quality preparation of all pastry items, and maintaining approved food costs.

• Prepare and present high-quality pastry items, including baked goods and desserts.
• Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items.
• Lead and train a team of pastry professionals to achieve high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including the handling of special dietary and allergy requirements.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of pastry arts and a thorough understanding of kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Excellent leadership and training skills.
