About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Field Case Manager to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing physician relationships, educating healthcare professionals, and ensuring seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and their staff to ensure effective program implementation and patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on various program services, including therapy guidelines and reimbursement procedures.
- Consult patient charts to complete necessary paperwork and obtain coverage, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist physicians in completing Special Authorization (SA) forms, enrollment forms, prescription renewals, and other documentation.
- Provide ongoing updates to physicians on their patients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Customize program elements to meet the needs of assigned physicians, adjusting to in-clinic and remote MD requirements.
- Identify areas for risk and foster proactive, continued quality improvement, ensuring compliance with program standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient journeys, ensuring seamless care.
- Participate in scheduled physician meetings with sales representatives, promoting effective program implementation.
- Attend Continuous Medical Education events and report new activities, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Regular travel to various physician offices, ensuring face-to-face interactions and effective program implementation.
- Adverse Event reporting, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
- Registered nurse (RN) or related degree, with equivalent transferable skills.
- Experience in public or private third-party reimbursement arena, pharmaceutical sales, managed care, or clinical support, an asset.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, particularly for Quebec and New Brunswick provinces.
- Previous Case Manager experience, basic CCPE, and exceptional customer service skills are highly valued.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, comprehend medical terminology, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze current enrollment volume by MD, engage with physicians and their staff, and communicate effectively in both English and French.
- Excellent time management skills, sense of urgency, and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity, with strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and possess a car.
- Adhere to Performance Standards and Procedures required by the program.
- Must have a private, dedicated home office space that accommodates equipment supplied by Innomar Strategies.
