About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Business Process Expert to join our team at High Cliff Partners Inc. in Montreal. This is a full-time permanent position with a hybrid work setting, requiring occasional travel to the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the IT and Finance Teams to ensure smooth operation of day-to-day business processes.
  • Utilize expertise in logistics and aerospace/aviation/aircraft maintenance to drive business process improvement.
  • Translate business ideas and requirements into SAP terminology, supporting business case development and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Optimize and redesign end-to-end processes, introducing new business ideas and developing trends.
  • Adhere to standards, striving for consolidation and harmonization of processes.
  • Identify requirements, interdependencies, and gaps in existing functionalities in close cooperation with Business Process Owner, Business Analyst, and Business Application Expert.
  • Verify the potential impact on existing processes and functionalities.
  • Monitor and analyze business processes, designing, testing, shaping, and implementing changes.
  • Create business cases and support prioritization processes for requirements in coordination with the Business Relationship Manager.
  • Support cost-benefit analyses and budget planning.
  • Liaise with the COE team and AMS team on issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with business and technical SMEs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • SAP certifications in FI, CO, PS modules are an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale SAP deployment, support, and/or upgrade projects.
  • Prior experience in SAP financial system configuration and deployment.
  • Expertise in Core Finances (FICO) business processes and related functions.
  • Strong competence in SAP and related IT processes.
  • Technical knowledge and process know-how.
  • Experience in process design and development of end-to-end processes.
  • Expertise in process management and application of supporting tools.
  • Understanding of relationships between business processes and SAP applications/solutions/products.
  • Detailed knowledge of interfaces to other processes and SAP applications/solutions/products.
  • Experience in application development.
  • Competence in implementing requirements according to technical possibilities.
  • Experience with support structures and escalation management.
  • Knowledge in creating business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and budget planning.
  • Experience with OneSource.
  • Positive leadership and great team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in aerospace/aviation/aircraft maintenance is an asset.
  • Fluent in French and English is an asset.
