Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines to complete projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw and generate programs with MasterCAM, as well as make programs on CNC controller on shop floor
  • Be fluent with interpreting drawings/blueprints
  • Select and setup the appropriate machines and perform quality control
Requirements
  • 5-7 years experience in the field as a machinist
  • Experience using/programming manual, semi-automatic or automatic tools and machines
  • Ability to properly use precision tools to take accurate measurements
  • Solid knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and manuals
  • Solid math and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software
  • Mastercam experience is an asset
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Works well independently but also great in team settings
  • Red Seal Certified would be considered an asset
  • Highly proficient on manual lathes and milling machines
What We Offer
  • Day shift, 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
  • $27-$38/hourly depending on experience
  • 2 weeks vacation
