About the Role:
Brown & Brown Canada is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful renewal of commercial lines policies, including meeting attendance and coordination with producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Commercial Lines Leader and Producers to ensure timely completion of all renewals, including meeting attendance and coordination.
- Support the renewal process for assigned and prospective clients, including ordering updated loss information, obtaining updated information, handling renewal applications, and reviewing and facilitating renewal pricing.
- Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
- Oversee the completion of administrative tasks, including issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements.
- Conduct and assemble accurate marketing proposals in draft and final form.
- Build successful relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to improve client retention.
- Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Commercial Lines arena.
- Daily contact with insurance carriers to resolve inquiries and complaints regarding carrier claims resolution.
- Investigate and provide timely responses to client inquiries.
- Assist Producers with new business calls and implementation of new business for newly assigned accounts.
- Attend departmental service meetings and support training, development, and mentorship of team members.
- Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level preferred.
- Extensive computer knowledge in a Windows environment, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
- RIBO License required.
- Insurance designation strongly preferred.
