Risk and Security Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Security Officer to join our 2nd Line of Defense Team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our global business line, Merchant Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the development of IT/security risk management and internal control systems, tools, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and industry-specific regulations, such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001, and implement required measures.
  • Conduct periodic operational and security risk controls to validate efficiency, identify risks, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Support quarterly enterprise risk management assessments and supervise the security maturity level of key suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • 5 years of experience as an operational risk, information security, security risk management, and/or cybersecurity professional.
  • Proven knowledge of relevant risk and security frameworks, such as COSO, ISO 27001, PCI, etc.
