About the Position

The Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks a skilled Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation services team. In this role, you will work with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of physical conditions. Your holistic approach will involve developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercises, education, and manual therapy. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure effective patient care and team goals.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, as well as membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Strong computer skills and certification in CPR and WHMIS are also required. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment is essential. Competency in other languages, particularly French, is an asset.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Rotational shifts may include weekends, and some travel between sites may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $33.97 - $42.89, as well as eligibility for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. Additionally, a signing bonus and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
