Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough medical histories and performing standardized tests to determine physical diagnoses
- Developing holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers to promote health and patient management
- Providing supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and assistants

About YouWe are seeking a Physiotherapist who possesses:
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Competencies in other languages, with French being an asset

HoursThis is a permanent full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Shifts include weekends in a rotational schedule, and some travel between sites may be required.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
