About the Role

At Raytheon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Assembler and Tester to join our team. As an Aircraft Assembler and Tester, you will be responsible for assembling and testing aircraft engines, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble aircraft engines according to specific instructions and guidelines
  • Test assembled engines to ensure they meet performance and quality standards
  • Ensure that all checks are carried out and records are kept of specific functional dimensions at assembly, test, and teardown
  • Ensure that quality and integrity of product is maintained at all times
  • Document build, test, or strip activities to ensure smooth workflow and coordination between shifts
  • Coordinate with Engineering staff and support groups for successful completion of the build and execution of the test

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of technical college in aircraft trades
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the aircraft field preferred
  • Awareness of EH&S and continuous improvement (an asset)
  • Must be detail and result oriented
  • Must possess a good capacity for teamwork
  • Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude and be able to problem solve effectively
  • Must display drive and initiative
  • Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English
