About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembler and Tester to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As an Aircraft Assembler and Tester, you will be responsible for performing assembly and testing tasks on aircraft engines, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test aircraft engines according to specific instructions and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all assembled parts and details meet specified requirements and standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that the final product meets our high standards.
  • Document all build, test, and teardown activities to ensure smooth workflow and coordination between shifts.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff and support groups to ensure successful completion of builds and tests.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving during assembly, test, or disassembly of engines.
  • Contribute to FOD prevention, continuous improvement, and EHS cultures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of technical college in aircraft trades.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the aircraft field preferred.
  • Awareness of EH&S and continuous improvement (an asset).
  • Must be detail and result-oriented.
  • Must possess a good capacity for teamwork.
  • Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude and be able to problem-solve effectively.
  • Must display drive and initiative.
  • Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English.
