Job Title: Quality Control Foreman/Woman

Century Twenty-One Gas & Heating Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the quality control process in our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials: Conduct thorough analyses to determine the most cost-effective materials and supplies for production.
  • Prepare production and other reports: Compile and submit regular reports on production progress, quality control metrics, and other relevant data.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions: Collaborate with HR to identify and hire qualified candidates for production roles.
  • Train or arrange for training: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that production staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and production runs smoothly.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed: Conduct regular safety audits and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Oversee the operation of company: Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Set up machines and equipment: Install and maintain production equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order.
  • Supervise workers and projects: Provide guidance and support to production staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and information to complete their tasks effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, tight deadlines, work under pressure.
  • Work environment: 40 hours per week.
