Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at Century Twenty-One Gas & Heating Co. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for materials and supplies.
  • Prepare Production Reports: Analyze production data and create detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and Hire Workers: Source, interview, and hire qualified candidates to fill production and quality control positions.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee Operations: Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the production department.
  • Set Up Machines and Equipment: Install and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Monitor and evaluate employee performance, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a production or quality control role is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
