We are a dynamic food service company seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Street Food Vendor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
    • Be reliable, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in food service is an asset.
    • Certifications and Licenses
      • A Safe Food Handling certificate and a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate are required.
    • Transportation and Equipment
      • Own transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
    • Physical Demands
      • Be able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
    • Screening Questions
      • Be available for the advertised start date and currently legally able to work in Canada.
