We are seeking a passionate and energetic KidStrong Coach to join our team at KidStrong of Macleod Trail. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in helping parents build stronger, smarter, and more confident kids through our science-based curriculum.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Coach with an athletic or coaching background who has experience working with kids aged 15 months to 11 years old. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians about the benefits of our curriculum and will be able to coach children on brain, physical, and character development.
Responsibilities- Coach children on brain, physical, and character development using our evolving monthly curriculum
- Communicate with parents/guardians about the benefits of our curriculum and provide guidance on how to support their child's development
- Work with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality programs and services to our members
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in youth development
- Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred
- Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum is preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- CPR certification
- Ability to pass a police background check
