Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach to join our team at KidStrong of Macleod Trail. As a Coach, you will be responsible for delivering our science-based curriculum to children aged 15 months to 11 years old. Your primary focus will be on coaching children in brain, physical, and character development, while also educating parents on the benefits of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-energy coaching sessions to children aged 15 months to 11 years old
  • Implement our evolving monthly curriculum to ensure children receive a comprehensive education in brain, physical, and character development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to educate them on the benefits of our program and address any questions or concerns they may have
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive and engaging experience for children and parents
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in children's fitness and development
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to their development
  • Experience coaching children in a fitness or sports setting (preferably with KidStrong)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents alike
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CPR certification and a clean police background check
  • Preferred: certification in fitness, coaching, or early childhood development
