Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BC LTD DBA DAIRY QUEEN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure effective time management, meeting deadlines and delivering results.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
