Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Subway. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and maintain efficient operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in food preparation and service, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work closely with senior management to establish work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful as a Food Service Supervisor, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
