Auto Body Solderer

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Solderer to join our team at CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
- Fitting, brazing and torch-straightening metal, determining weldability of materials, and operating previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language of work: English.
