We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Solderer to join our team at United City Cartage Ltd.
Job Summary:The Auto Body Solderer will be responsible for soldering and brazing metal parts in the auto body repair process. This includes interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and examining welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient work.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to solder and braze metal parts.
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- Determine weldability of materials and ensure proper handling and storage.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in auto body repair or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Flexibility and ability to work overtime as required.
- Parking available.
- Permanent employment.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
