About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Professional to join our team at Tokyo Express Millwoods. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate special events and create customized menus
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to perfection
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to guarantee cleanliness and sanitation
  • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation
  • Recruit and hire staff, identifying top talent and promoting a positive work environment
  • Manage kitchen operations, making adjustments as needed to meet the needs of our customers
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position, working 30 to 44 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
