About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their health and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescription and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities.
  • Counselling and Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry from a recognized institution.
  • Work Setting: Be comfortable working in an urban area and a clinic environment.
  • Certifications and Memberships: Possess the College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and any other relevant certifications.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and possess the physical capabilities to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate strong client focus, dependability, flexibility, organization, and teamwork skills.
