About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Develop and maintain expertise in family medicine, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements.
  • Patient Care
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
    • Provide ongoing care and support to patients, including routine check-ups and follow-up appointments.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Administrative and Operational
    • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical histories.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
