Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their health and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities.
  • Counselling and Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Certification: Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and be certified by the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
