**Job Summary**

This position involves supporting individuals in all areas of their lives, including cooking, cleaning, yard work, medication administration, community inclusion, and employment.

As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our clients and contribute to their overall well-being.

**Responsibilities**

• Provide personalized support to individuals in their homes and community settings

• Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care

• Support individuals with medication administration and crisis prevention intervention

• Encourage community inclusion and participation in recreational activities

• Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans

**Requirements**

• Class 4 Driver's license (obtained within 3 months)

• Ability to lift and transfer individuals (with assistance if needed)

• Training in seizure management and crisis prevention intervention

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (an asset)

• BCGEU union membership (Grid Level 10)
