First Student is a leading provider of school transportation services, operating in 460 locations across the US and Canada. We work with school districts to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation for five million students per school day.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Transportation Specialist to join our team in Vaughan, Ontario. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
• Safely transport students to and from school
• Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
Requirements
• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
• Pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer benefits including health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
