Parkland Motels I & II is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team as a Hotel Maintenance Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Will train, supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
