Assistant Professor, Contractually Limited Term

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our team as a Contractually Limited Term faculty member in French Linguistics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in experimental or corpus-based French linguistics and a focus on language acquisition, bi/multilingualism, or psycholinguistics.
Responsibilities:- Teach French linguistics and French-as-a-second-language courses in the French undergraduate programs.
- Develop and maintain an active program of research in French linguistics.
- Participate in experiential education and community outreach activities, including with local high schools.
- PhD in French or Linguistics or a related area by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter.
- Demonstrated expertise in experimental or corpus-based French linguistics.
- Focus on language acquisition, bi/multilingualism, or psycholinguistics.
- Native or near-native proficiency in French and a strong command of spoken and written English.
