Registered Nurse (Community Health/Primary Care) Exigences
- Essential Experience
Recent and Significant experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing Community Health or Primary Care nursing services in one or more of the following areas:
- Community Health (Public Health and Home and Community Care)
- Primary Care
- Urgent or Emergency Care
- Acute or Intensive Care
Conditions of Employment
- Reliability Status Security Clearance
- Valid driver's license or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a driver's license
- Medical Clearance
- PRE-PLACEMENT: Category 1 health evaluation + COVID-19 self-screening questionnaire
- PERIODIC: Category 3 health evaluation according to the schedule outlined in the Occupational Health Evaluation Standard for "First Nations and Inuit Health Branch Nurses Assigned to Isolated Posts in Northern First Nations Communities"
- Willingness and ability to travel in small aircraft, off road vehicles and by boat in varied weather conditions to communities in remote and isolated areas
- Willingness and ability to work in a rigorous, diverse and often demanding work environment
- May be required to be temporarily reassigned to other communities as operationally required
- Willingness and ability to perform on call duties, work after hours, and on weekends as required
- Willingness and ability to complete mandatory education/training relevant to the position
- Current valid registration as a Registered Nurse and a member in good standing in the province where the position is located.

ÉducationGraduation with a degree in nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution
Candidates with foreign credentials must provide proof of Canadian equivalency. Consult the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials or Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC).
Salaire $81, to $92, (plus applicable allowances)
