About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Recruitment and Retention Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and retain registered nurses in community health, primary care, and other related areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve recruitment and retention rates.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address gaps in nursing services.
  • Provide education and training to nurses on relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Recent experience (within the last three years) as a Registered Nurse providing community health or primary care services.
  • Significant experience (at least one year) performing complex activities related to this task.
  • Valid driver's license or personal mobility equivalent to a driver's license.
  • Medical clearance and reliability status security clearance.
  • Ability to travel to remote and isolated areas by small aircraft, off-road vehicles, and boat.

Education and Qualifications

  • Graduation with a degree in nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Current valid registration as a Registered Nurse and a member in good standing in the province where the position is located.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $81,000 to $92,000 per year (plus applicable allowances).
  • Reliability status security clearance and medical clearance.
