About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our team at the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate. As a Program Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our program area, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to a team of professionals, including calendaring, drafting and formatting documents, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Manage electronic and paper records management systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners and other organizations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Perform data entry and tracking of project status.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma with at least two years of administrative support experience in an office setting.
  • Strong proficiency and experience working with electronic and paper records management systems.
  • Strong proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing administrative support to a group of professionals.
  • Direct experience working with children and youth.
  • Knowledge of the child intervention and youth justice systems.
