Job Description

As Culinary Operations Manager at Mexicali Rosa's, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our food preparation team to ensure seamless service delivery. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all meals meet high quality standards, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective methods to manage work schedules and optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Sourcing and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner
  • Supervising staff members to ensure they adhere to sanitation and safety protocols
  • Providing training and guidance to new employees on job duties, procedures, and policies
  • Evaluating ingredient and supply needs to estimate costs and minimize waste
  • Hiring and managing food service staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Maintaining high-quality standards by conducting regular checks on food and services
  • Preparing budget estimates and analyzing expenses to optimize operational efficiency
  • Addressing customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Collecting and recording data on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Preparation of reports and summaries for senior management and chef
  • Overseeing the assembly and presentation of meal trays to meet quality standards
