Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join our team at the University of Waterloo. As an Administrative Manager, you will provide administrative support to the department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and special projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the success of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
  • Coordinate and manage departmental events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative position, preferably in an academic environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
