Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 8940002 Canada Inc. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and customers receive a seamless shopping experience.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new sales associates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments and Merchandise: Process payments, authorize returns, and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize losses.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, meet sales targets, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, answer product questions, and make sales recommendations to drive sales growth.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize Inventory: Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure that products are displayed attractively and in a way that drives sales.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Lead and support office and volunteer staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.

- Applies Hiring Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Provides Awareness Training: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Offers Phased Retirement Options: Offers phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
