Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Vancouver or Toronto. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems for large-scale commercial and institutional building applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Prepare and produce drawings and schematics for mechanical systems
  • Coordinate with other consulting disciplines to ensure drawing integrity and completeness
  • Work with project teams and project managers to ensure on-time project completion
  • Review and provide feedback on other discipline drawings
  • Provide technical and administrative support to contractors and internal teams
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant working experience
  • Design experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Background in developing construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Familiarity with bid and tendering processes
  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian and provincial codes and standards
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • P. Eng. or CET certifications
  • Experience working with customers and client bases
  • Experience working in team-based environments
  • Experience in site investigations and construction reviews
