Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Boeing Trucking Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Working Conditions

The Logistics Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately under pressure.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will have a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.

Language and Work Environment

The language of work is English and the work environment is a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
