Executive Chef

Kanpai Izakaya seeks an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in the heart of the city. As a specialist in Japanese cuisine, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase the unique flavors and techniques of Japanese cuisine
- Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness of dishes
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new concepts and ideas
- At least 2 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
