Job Opportunity: HR Generalist - 6 Months Contract

**Job Types**: 6 months Contract.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year

Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Role Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with department heads and union representatives to address employee relations issues and support the resolution of grievances.
- Coordinate staff traning and core credential compliance, ensuring all employees meet organization standards.
- Coordinate staff training and core credential compliance, ensuring all employees meet organizational management.
- Conduct investigations and provide coaching to supervisors and managers on employee performance management.
- Uphold IHAC’s missions, values and ethical business practices in all interactions and initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in healthcare or social services environment.
- Strongly understanding of labor laws, CAC standards, and occupational health & safety regulations.
- Experience in workplace investigations and conflict resolutions.
- Very Organized and process driven.
- Experience in Union environments will be an asset.
- Upholding confidentiality and business ethics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software and ADP.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CPHR) designation is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
