About the Role

PhotoSat Information Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers.
  • Consult with suppliers to ensure the best possible solutions for our organization.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff as needed.
  • Review quotations and award contracts to appropriate parties.
  • Establish and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise with clients or suppliers.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and problem-solve effectively.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a hybrid environment, with a mix of remote and in-office work. They will be required to travel occasionally to meet with suppliers and clients.
