We are seeking a highly skilled Turnover Coordinator to join our team at First Tek, Inc. in Kitimat, BC. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the turnover process for all systems within our Client plant, ensuring compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive turnover plan, including the identification of systems, system boundaries, and turnover packages.
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover of systems.
- Monitor and track the status of turnover packages, ensuring that all required documentation, testing, and inspections have been completed.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and facilitate the required inspections and tests for each system.
- Review and validate turnover documentation, including turnover packages, as-built drawings, and operating manuals.
- Maintain a comprehensive turnover database or system, tracking all relevant information, documentation, and progress for easy retrieval and reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Process Operations.
- Proven experience as a Turnover Coordinator or similar role in the construction or commissioning phase of large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of systems turnover processes, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
