Your Opportunity:

We are seeking an Administrative Support III to join our dedicated team at Alberta Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for warmly welcoming, greeting, and registering clients for our programs, serving as a key point of contact for community members and those seeking our services.

The role involves managing program referrals, efficiently booking clients for services, and maintaining an orderly system of program files. The Administrative Support III will also be entrusted with the responsibility of ordering necessary program supplies and working collaboratively with other team members to forge connections and provide continuity in the care of our clients.

This position requires a working understanding of addiction and mental health programming, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal, allied, contracted, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage program referrals and bookings
  • Maintain program files and supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to provide continuity of care
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, judgment, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience working in a health care environment
  • Advanced computer knowledge in word processing and data management software
