We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing assessment, case coordination, and direct care to patients in their own residence or an alternate care setting.
- Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to provide safe and quality patient care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- Experience in providing case management, Home Parenteral Therapy (HPT), wound, skin, and ostomy care, palliative support, and client teaching.
