Are you a skilled cook with a passion for kitchen management? We're looking for an Executive Chef to lead our team at St Louis Bar and Grill.
Work SettingOur restaurant is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
- We're looking for someone with a strong background in kitchen management, including inventory control, staff supervision, and menu planning.
- As our Executive Chef, you'll be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Recruit and hire staff, including cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of kitchen management principles and practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
